Returns & Refunds

At the moment we do not offer free returns.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

In circumstances where you, the individual customer, wish to cancel the contract and return the product to Cargo Hills, you have 14 days to inform us of returning an item, and a further 14 days to send it in. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

Subject to the product being in the same condition and packaging that it was delivered to you, a full refund will be provided. Any and all refunds that may be provided will be returned to the original payment method and may take up to 14 days to be received.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: 

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Returns

The goods need to be returned at your own cost, intact, in the same condition as received, and in the original packaging. After postage please retain proof of despatch, as we cannot be held accountable for lost or damaged items during transit. Outside the UK you may be liable for export fees and extra paperwork for returning items. 

Faulty items
If you receive a faulty, or damaged goods please email us at hello@cargohills.com with a photograph and request either a refund or replacement within 14 days of receiving the item(s). 

Refunds processing
Our system processes the refund instantly and you will receive an email notification - please allow 10 - 14 days for your bank to show the funds.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@cargohills.com.
